With the introduction of new health and safety procedures, whilst continuing to follow the official guidance from the UK Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation, we are pleased to say we are commencing with our grounds maintenance operations, cleaning services and site inspections of housing developments.
We would like to assure you that the health and safety of our customers and staff remains our highest priority.
In recent days we have been out completing essential work to tidy the open spaces and communal areas, enabling daily exercise where possible, following government guidelines. As well as carrying out essential and enhanced cleaning of communal areas in apartment blocks to help reduce the spread of Covid 19.
If you see our staff on site, we would politely ask you to respect social distancing protocol and not approach them. Instead, if you have any queries please get in touch with your property manager at email@example.com

By following the government’s measures to reduce the spread of the infection, we are regrettably unable to carry out our cleaning and grounds maintenance services at present.
We are understandably being asked by some customers whether service charges will reduce, or whether credits will be applied. We cannot consider credits at this moment in time, as we don’t know how long this situation will last. We will continue to follow the government’s advice and hope to resume these services as soon as we can.
Please be understanding of the fact that whenever this may be, there will inevitably be additional works needed to achieve the expected, high standards. This may involve deep cleans of internal communal areas or extra works on the grounds of all developments. Depending on the timescale of this crisis, that will involve additional hours on site and even the need to hire in specialist equipment.
As a result, we will be evaluating this when we have a clearer picture and any adjustments will be communicated to Management Companies in due course.

Following the Prime Minister’s public broadcast on Monday 23rd March 2020, Ground Solutions has advised all staff to remain at home. This is for the health and welfare of all staff and residents.
We strongly recommend that all residents should follow the government’s instructions and make sure that access by non-residents to the site is restricted, in order to save lives.

As a valued customer of Ground Solutions, we wanted to update you on what we are doing to help minimise the spread of COVID-19.
We are continuing to follow the official guidance from the UK Government, Public Health England and the World Health Organisation closely. It is essential for us to be able to ensure that proper procedures are in place to support the health and safety of all our customers and staff members.
To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have been putting precautionary safety measures in place, including:
- Educating all staff on prevention
- Emphasising frequent hand washing and sanitisation
- Emphasis in communal areas of cleaning door handles and push plates
- Working closely with local health authorities and following their guidance
To continue to provide our services we have improved capabilities for many of our office staff members to work from home, and they will have full and secure access to all of our usual files, systems and software using our Remote Desktop service.
Should we reach a point where our grounds and cleaning services are no longer able to continue, we will let you know.
At this moment, we are continuing to operate as usual. We will continue to keep in touch with you via our website and escalate the roll out of our Customer Portal. We will continue to follow the official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England and inform you of any changes.
